Laser Hair Removal for Darker Skin Tones

Our medical-grade dual-wavelength system uses both 755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG technology. The 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength is particularly valuable for darker skin because it penetrates more deeply and is less strongly absorbed by melanin at the surface of the skin than shorter wavelengths.

Every client is assessed individually and receives a patch test before treatment. Settings are selected according to skin tone, hair colour and thickness, treatment area and individual response rather than applying one standard setting to everyone.
